This was stated by the Syrian President, Ahmad al-Shara, at a press conference alongside EU leaders following the informal European Council in Nicosia, Cyprus. That is why Europe’s commitment to Syria’s stability and security will inevitably lead to halting Israel’s aggression in Syrian territories and putting an end to the violation of Syria’s sovereignty. For our part, we wish to confirm that Syria, which was once a theatre of conflict, is now working for its people and wishes for its people to also be a bridge and the main pillar for the solution.
