Milan, June 10 (LaPresse) – A Qatari delegation went to Tehran this morning to meet Iranian negotiators in an attempt to bridge remaining differences ahead of a potential agreement with the United States. This was reported to CNN by an informed diplomatic source, explaining that "following consultations with the United States, Qatari negotiators went to Tehran this morning to meet with the Iranians in an attempt to bridge remaining differences." CNN notes that the visit signals that diplomacy remains active despite Iran and the United States exchanging strikes overnight in one of the toughest tests so far for the ceasefire. The US military said it had completed strikes against Iran which, it stated, were in response to the downing of an army helicopter. A US official told CNN that the United States believes the attacks will not hinder the talks.
