Turin, 5 June (LaPresse) – The United States is uncomfortable with the situation regarding Iran and does not know how to extricate itself from it, despite having initially attempted ‘a bold move’. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in an interview with Izvestia, reported by TASS. "President Donald Trump said at one point: “We will destroy Iran as a civilisation”. That is quite a bold move. No one has any doubts that this goal is unattainable,‘ he said. ’And it is no surprise that the United States, judging by their statements and actions, clearly understands this situation, is uncomfortable with it and does not know how to get out of it," Lavrov emphasised.
