Milan, 15 May (LaPresse) – ‘I rule out the possibility of any wars between the United States and China, including localised conflicts.’ This was stated by the Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, Antonio Tajani, appearing on “Mattino5” on Canale 5. "They are certainly two great powers. The United States is a major Western power, alongside Europe, and China is a major Asian power. There is competition, there is rivalry, with different objectives. China wants to flood Western markets with its overproduction; we simply need to be aware of that. It is good that there is a dialogue; we too have withdrawn from the Silk Road because the Italian government’s strategy does not align with China’s in that area, but we have good relations with China,” added Tajani.
