Milan, 4 May (LaPresse) – ‘Those injured in the Crans-Montana fire and their families, regardless of where they live, will not have to pay anything for the medical treatment provided in Swiss hospitals immediately following the disaster.’ This was written on X by the President of the Swiss Confederation, Guy Parmelin, reporting on his meeting with Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on the sidelines of the European Political Community (EPC) summit in Yerevan, Armenia. ‘These costs will be covered by victim support, to the extent that they are not covered by insurance. To avoid any misunderstanding, Switzerland will no longer send copies of invoices to the victims’ families,’ Parmelin clarified.
