Rome, 23 May (LaPresse) – "At last night’s Council of Ministers meeting, we adopted concrete measures to support families, businesses and workers at a time still marked by tensions on international markets. We are confirming the cut in excise duties, extending the tax credit for road haulage with a total budget of €300 million, strengthening support for the agricultural sector and increasing the National Fund for Local Public Transport by €80 million a year." Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni wrote this on social media. ‘We have also approved important measures for Niscemi, to safeguard the security of the area and its citizens. We continue to take serious and concrete action to defend Italians’ purchasing power, support the nation’s productive system and provide solutions for local communities,’ she added.
