Rome, 8 June (LaPresse) – ‘Israel is not a punching bag for a gang of lying supporters of terrorism who invent slander and lies against our fighters.’ This is the response from Israeli Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir to the investigation opened against him by the Rome Public Prosecutor’s Office in connection with the detention of Italian activists from the Global Sumud Flotilla and the video he posted in which he directed taunts at them. “I am not intimidated by this kind of investigation and I will continue to stand proudly alongside our fighters,” he added.
