Turin, 6 June (LaPresse) – Nine people were injured in an attack by settlers on the Palestinian town of Hawara, south of Nablus, in the northern West Bank. According to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, those injured include a local councillor who was hit by shrapnel in the leg, four people who were beaten and four others who were hit by tear gas. One of those attacked suffered head injuries. Footage published by the Palestinian media shows a young man lying on the road, apparently bleeding from the head, while a Red Crescent paramedic tends to him.
