Milan, 23 May (LaPresse) – A member of Iran’s National Security Committee, speaking in an interview with the ISNA news agency, commented on the visit by Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, Asim Munir, stating that he “feels we are moving closer to a final agreement, but that difficulties remain”. According to Munir, “Iran and Pakistan have recognised that the difficulties stem from the United States. More in-depth negotiations between the two sides will take place this evening. This meeting can be seen as positive, but some of the Americans’ recent positions are cause for concern.”
