Rome, May 22 (LaPresse) – “We cannot necessarily say that we have reached a point where an agreement” with the United States “is close.” This was stated—according to Al Arabiya—by Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei. “We cannot say that we will inevitably reach a result after just a few visits or talks,” he added, referring to the mission to Iran by the Chief of Staff of the Pakistani Army and mediator on behalf of Islamabad, Asim Munir. “Diplomacy takes time,” Baghaei concluded, speaking of “weeks or months.”
