Rome, May 13 (LaPresse) – “My ministers will work to improve relations with our European partners, a fundamental step to strengthen European security.” This was stated by Charles III while delivering the King's Speech, the traditional address prepared by the government outlining the legislative program for the coming year. The government “will defend the British values of decency, tolerance and respect for differences under our common flag,” the sovereign added, stressing that “urgent action” would be taken to combat antisemitism. He also assured that the British government “will reaffirm the United Kingdom’s unwavering commitment to NATO and our NATO allies, including through a steady increase in defense spending.”
