Rome, 13 May (LaPresse) South Korean Defence Minister Ahn Gyu-back said on Wednesday that he had informed his US counterpart that Seoul is reviewing its contribution to Washington’s initiative to restore safe navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. This was reported by the Yonhap news agency. Speaking to journalists at the South Korean embassy in Washington, Ahn said that Seoul had informed Washington that it would “participate as a responsible member of the international community and assess how to contribute in subsequent phases”.
