Teheran, May 2. (LaPresse) – Iran will resist the “military expeditions of the America that devours the world.” This was stated by Hossein Noushabadi, director general for parliamentary and legal affairs at Iran’s Foreign Ministry, quoted by the ISNA news agency. According to Noushabadi, “the well-being, prosperity and progress of the nations of the region” depend on the United States withdrawing from the Gulf. “We should prepare for the worst so as not to be caught off guard,” said Yousef Pezeshkian, son and adviser to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, in a Telegram post reported by Iran International. “Iran has suffered economic damage due to infrastructure losses and damage to managerial capacity caused by the loss of its best forces, but in terms of credibility and global standing it has so far benefited,” he added.
