Tehran, Apr 19 (LaPresse) – "There have been progress in the negotiations with the United States, but significant differences remain." This was stated by Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf to the Iranian news agency Tasnim, according to Ynet. "We have reached," he continued, "conclusions on some issues, but not on others, and several proposals have been put forward. We are still far from a final discussion. We insist on several issues that are non-negotiable for us." Ghalibaf, who led the Iranian negotiating delegation in the failed talks in the Pakistani capital a week ago, added: "The Islamabad negotiations have not eliminated our distrust toward the United States, but I believe that mutual understanding between the two sides has become more realistic."
