Milan, 15 June (LaPresse) – Real Madrid, under new manager Jose Mourinho, have pulled off another coup: Spanish full-back Marc Cucurella has joined from Chelsea. The English club announced that Cucurella “has completed a permanent transfer to Real Madrid, a team in the Spanish La Liga. Everyone at Chelsea FC would like to thank Marc for his efforts during his time at the club and for the role he played in our recent successes." Cucurella joined Chelsea in the summer of 2022 from Brighton & Hove Albion and was part of the squad that won the UEFA Europa Conference League and the FIFA Club World Cup last year. Chelsea’s statement does not specify the terms of the transfer, which, according to the British media, is believed to be in the region of €50 million.
