Milan, 11 June (LaPresse) – Mexico’s Quinones has scored the first goal of the 2026 World Cup, which is being held in the USA, Mexico and Canada. The Al Qadsiah striker broke the deadlock in the Mexico v South Africa match, a Group A fixture, after nine minutes following an assist from Lira and aided by a mistake from the South African defence and goalkeeper.
