The world number three, a four-time winner in Paris, defeated the Czech Sara Bejlek, ranked 35th in the WTA rankings, in straight sets in the second round, winning 6-2, 6-3 in one hour and 34 minutes. In the third round, Swiatek will face the winner of the match between Linette and Ostapenko.
