Rome, 3 May (LaPresse) – Kimi Antonelli completes a hat-trick, securing victory at the Miami Grand Prix – the fourth round of the World Championship – following his wins in China and Japan. The 19-year-old from Bologna, driving for Mercedes, finished ahead of McLaren’s world champion Lando Norris, with Oscar Piastri’s other ‘papaya’ car coming third. Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc was unlucky, let down by his car with one lap to go and slipping from third to sixth place due to a technical problem with the wing. Just off the podium was the other Mercedes driven by George Russell, ahead of Max Verstappen’s Red Bull, which was the star of the day with a series of overtakes and errors. Lewis Hamilton’s Ferrari finished seventh. With this victory, Antonelli takes his tally to 100 points and consolidates his lead in the overall standings.
