Turin, 28 April (LaPresse) – Following in the footsteps of Jannik Sinner and Lorenzo Musetti, Flavio Cobolli has become the third Italian to reach the last 16 at the Madrid Masters 1000. The Italian defeated Paraguay’s Adolfo Daniel Vallejo, ranked 96th in the world, 6-3, 6-2. In the round of 16, Cobolli is set to face Russia’s Daniil Medvedev, the number 7 seed.
