Paris, Oct. 27 (LaPresse) – After Flavio Cobolli, Lorenzo Sonego also qualified for the second round of the Rolex Paris Masters, the final Masters 1000 of the 2025 season, held on indoor hard courts at La Défense Arena. The Italian, ranked No. 45 in the ATP rankings, defeated Sebastian Korda (No. 54) for the fourth time, with a score of 6-2, 6-3. He will therefore face Lorenzo Musetti in Paris, who, as No. 7 seed and No. 8 in the Race, is seeking valuable points to qualify for the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin. Musetti and Sonego have met only once before, also on indoor hard courts: in 2024, in the first round in Vienna, the Tuscan player won 6-3, 6-2.
