Rome, Oct 25 (LaPresse) – Jannik Sinner reaches the final of the Erste Bank Open in Vienna (indoor hard court – prize money €2,736,875), one of the two ATP 500 events concluding Sunday at the Wiener Stadthalle. The Italian defeated Australian Alex De Minaur 6-3, 6-4 in one hour and 27 minutes. The world No. 2 will compete for the title against the winner of the match between Lorenzo Musetti and Alexander Zverev. Sinner wins his 20th consecutive ATP match in indoor tournaments (matching Andy Murray’s streak) and reaches the 31st final of his career. It is his eighth final of 2025, making him the first player since Djokovic (2015-16) to play at least eight finals in two consecutive seasons. Against De Minaur, Sinner lost his serve twice (in the fifth game of the first set while leading 4-0 and in the sixth of the second set) but always maintained control of the match.
