Rome, 25 October (LaPresse) – Napoli beat Inter 3-1 in the Serie A matchday eight fixture played at the Maradona Stadium and, with 18 points, move clear at the top of the table, overtaking Milan. De Bruyne scored in the 33rd minute from the penalty spot, awarded for a foul by Mkhitaryan on Di Lorenzo in the box. De Bruyne injured his rectus femoris muscle while taking the penalty and was forced to leave the field. McTominay doubled the lead in the 54th minute of the second half. The Nerazzurri pulled one back with another penalty from Calhanoglu, but Anguissa sealed the deal in the 66th minute. The Nerazzurri's seven-game winning streak came to an end.
