Rome, May 17 (LaPresse) – According to the Quirinale, President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella will be in Modena this morning, where yesterday 31-year-old Salim Elkoudri ran over several pedestrians while driving a car, seriously injuring four of them. The Head of State will visit the injured and meet with the mayor, whom he had already spoken with last night to express his solidarity and thank the citizens who intervened to stop the attacker. In the afternoon, Mattarella will then return to Rome for the final of the Internazionali tennis tournament.
