Milan, 5 June (LaPresse) – "The accusation that hurt me the most? Obviously, being accused of being involved in Chiara’s murder – indeed, being accused of being the perpetrator – is something I’ll find hard to shake off. If no one puts a stop to it, if no one dispels the illusion that a particular lead or reconstruction does not exist, there will always be someone who will make up anything." Marco Poggi said this in an excerpt from the exclusive interview airing this evening on “Quarto Grado”, presented by Gianluigi Nuzzi with Alessandra Viero on Retequattro. Who did he expect to dispel this illusion? ‘I’ve always thought that those investigating could very well have put a stop to certain theories, not just mine, but all the others that have been bandied about for a year regarding Chiara’s life and death,’ he adds. If there’s anything he wants to say to those who accuse him. "To bring a bit of everything to a close. Now the investigations are over, I don’t think all the mudslinging we’ve endured will ever stick to us. But I believe we can put an end to it now," says Marco Poggi.
