Turin, 26 May (LaPresse) – ‘I don’t have the facts; they’re with the judicial authorities and the mobile squad. I’m obviously sorry for what happened to this young man. We’re waiting to see what the outcome of the investigation will be.’ This was the statement from Turin’s police chief, Massimo Gambino, regarding the circumstances surrounding the injury to Juventus fan Marco Basoccu during the clashes that broke out before the Turin derby, as he answered questions from reporters on the sidelines of the press conference concerning the Memorandum of Understanding on Cyber Security between Piedmont, Valle d’Aosta and the University of Turin.
