Rome, 8 May (LaPresse) – The Veneto Court of Auditors is investigating the Cortina bobsleigh track in relation to potential financial loss linked to the Sliding Centre. This has been reported by the Veneto-based newspapers of the NEM group. The audit body is focusing on the recent handover of the bobsleigh track, signed by Cortina Municipality, the Milano Cortina Foundation and Simico, and the damage found along the track. This damage has held up the handover process for over a month. To date – as the Veneto media explain – the financial loss and associated liabilities have not yet been formally established.
