Milan, Apr. 22 (LaPresse) – He was arrested on charges of being responsible for the promotion and leadership of an association aimed at propaganda and incitement to commit crimes for reasons of racial and religious discrimination, and for having carried out, in cooperation with others, propaganda activities of the same nature, based also on the minimisation of the Holocaust and the apology of the genocide of the Jewish people. This morning, the Police, coordinated by the Milan Prosecutor’s Office, arrested a 19-year-old Italian man, resident in Pavia, who has been placed under house arrest. The operation stems from a complex investigation conducted by the Anti-Terrorism Section of the Digos in Milan together with that of Pavia, in close cooperation with the Central Directorate for Prevention Police – Service for Countering Terrorism and Internal Extremism, and originates from constant web-monitoring activity targeting supremacist and neo-Nazi far-right environments, which led to the identification of a group active on social platforms, created and managed by the 19-year-old and easily accessible to anyone, called 'Chat Terza Posizione', an explicit reference to the well-known subversive organisation of the 1970s with the same name.
