Rome, Apr 14 (LaPresse) – "The sabotage of RAI’s Supervisory Committee by the majority continues. Today, opposition group leaders in the committee requested hearings with Ministers Giorgetti and Urso. Another request concerned hearing the CEO or the host of Porta a Porta, Bruno Vespa, after the heated clash on the program with Democratic Party MP Provenzano. I also communicated the request for hearings submitted by Usigrai and the Sign Language Association, as well as the need to move forward with the ‘No peace, No Panel’ directive. However, once again the majority showed no willingness to accept any of these requests, formalizing the continuation of the committee’s work blockade, already stalled for over a year except for rare exceptions. This is serious and irresponsible behavior. The situation now risks continuing until the end of the legislature. A unique case in the history of the Republic." This was stated by the chair of the RAI Supervisory Committee, Barbara Floridia.
