Milan, June 11 (LaPresse) – The US attacks have "effectively rendered the ceasefire meaningless." This was stated by the Iranian Foreign Ministry, without however declaring the abandonment of the truce. The statement comes after, for the second consecutive night, the US launched air strikes against Iran and Tehran responded with targeted raids in Bahrain, Kuwait and Jordan. Meanwhile, Pakistan says it will continue its mediation efforts despite the escalation between the US and Iran, pushing for a "negotiated solution." This was stated by Pakistani Foreign Ministry spokesperson Tahir Andrabi during a briefing with journalists, as reported by the Pakistani press. "Pakistan remains deeply concerned about the situation in the region, which has been marked by recent escalation. We believe that diplomacy and dialogue must be the guiding principles for achieving a negotiated solution to all contentious issues," the spokesperson said.
