Milan, 9 June (LaPresse) – Overnight, the Ukrainian region of Kharkiv was hit by a massive Russian attack involving missiles and drones. Four people were killed in Chuhuiv, including a pregnant woman, whilst in Kharkiv 15 people, including several children, were injured. The victims in Chuhuiv were two men aged 56 and 70 and two women aged 22 and 70. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing local authorities. In Kharkiv, Russia targeted residential buildings, civilian businesses, shops, cars and urban infrastructure. One of the drones struck a high-rise building. Several cars caught fire near the building, dozens of vehicles were damaged and windows in surrounding buildings were shattered. Another drone struck an apartment block between the eighth and ninth floors, but did not explode. Residents were evacuated. Administrative buildings, a shopping centre, a café, a church and dozens of cars were also damaged.
