Milan, 11 May (LaPresse) – Iran’s latest proposal to the United States to end the war was a “generous and responsible” offer. This was stated by the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Esmail Baghaei, as reported by Al Jazeera. ‘Safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz and the guarantee of security in the region and in Lebanon were Iran’s demands, considered a generous and responsible offer for regional security,’ said Baghaei, noting that stability and security in the region had been ‘compromised’ following US President Donald Trump’s rejection of Tehran’s response.
