Iran: Macron on the ship attacked in the Strait of Hormuz: ‘It is not France that is being targeted’

Milan, 6 May (LaPresse) – According to French President Emmanuel Macron, “France was in no way the target” of the attack on the CMA CGM vessel in the Strait of Hormuz. This was reported by government spokesperson Maud Bregeon during her address to the Council of Ministers, in which she clarified that the vessel ‘was flying the Maltese flag and had a Filipino crew, to whom we obviously express our full solidarity’. The vessel struck was the San Antonio, a container ship chartered by the French shipping company CMA CGM. This was reported by the broadcaster Bfmtv.
