Iran, Trump: ‘Tehran is making an offer to meet our demands’

Washington (USA), 24 Apr. (LaPresse) – Iran is formulating an offer to meet the United States’ demands. Donald Trump told Reuters this, according to a report by The Guardian. “They are formulating an offer and we’ll see,” said the president, adding that he did not yet know what that offer would entail. Trump did not wish to specify who Washington’s counterparts are in the negotiations set to resume in Islamabad. “I don’t want to reveal that, but we are dealing with the people who currently hold power.” As announced by the White House, special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner will leave for Pakistan tomorrow morning to meet the Iranian delegation led by Foreign Minister Aragchi.
