Milan, 14 Apr. (LaPresse) – ‘Yesterday I spoke with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and US President Donald Trump. I called for the resumption of the negotiations that were interrupted in Islamabad, to clear up misunderstandings and avoid further escalation.’ This is what French President Emmanuel Macron wrote in a post on social media platform X. ‘It is essential, in particular, that the ceasefire be strictly observed by all and that it includes Lebanon,’ he added, ‘it is equally important that the Strait of Hormuz be reopened, unconditionally, without checks or tolls, as soon as possible. Under these conditions, negotiations should be able to resume rapidly, with the support of the main parties involved.’
