Rome, 12 Apr. (LaPresse) – With 21.54% of votes counted, the Tisza party led by opposition leader Peter Magyar appears to have a comfortable lead over Fidesz, the party of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. According to projections, Tisza is set to win 128 seats – just shy of the 133 needed for a two-thirds majority in parliament – compared to 62 for Fidesz and 8 for Mi Hazank, the far-right party. In terms of percentage share, Tisza stands at 49.4% whilst Fidesz is at 42%.
