Vatican City (Vatican), 10 April (LaPresse) – Putting an end to the conflicts that are ravaging the world through dialogue and negotiation. This was the focus of the meeting at the Vatican between Pope Leo XIV and French President Emmanuel Macron. Macron, as reported by the Holy See Press Office, went to the Vatican Secretariat of State after his meeting with the Pontiff, where he met Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Secretary of State to His Holiness, accompanied by Monsignor Paul Richard Gallagher, Secretary for Relations with States and International Organisations. “During the cordial talks at the Secretariat of State,” the statement reads, “reference was made to the good relations existing between the Holy See and France. Attention then turned to significant international issues, with an exchange of views on conflict situations around the world, in the hope that peaceful coexistence can be re-established through dialogue and negotiation.”
