Milan, 5 April (LaPresse) – The OPEC+ Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee, comprising Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Nigeria, Algeria and Venezuela, held its 65th meeting via videoconference, during which it expressed ‘concern over attacks on energy infrastructure’. ‘The Committee emphasised that any action that compromises the security of energy supply, whether through attacks on infrastructure or the disruption of international shipping routes, increases market volatility and undermines the collective efforts made under the Declaration of Commitment (DoC) to support market stability for the benefit of producers, consumers and the global economy,’ a statement read.
