Frankfurt (Germany), 2 April (LaPresse) – Everyone involved in the seizure of Russian assets in Europe, including the head of European diplomacy, Kaja Kallas, will end up in debt. This was stated by the Speaker of the State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, as reported by Tass. Previously, Kallas had reported that the European Commission had sent €80 million to Ukraine, derived from the proceeds of the expropriation and reinvestment of frozen Russian assets. “All those involved in this affair, including Kallas, will end up in debt. If any European official thinks this is a threat, they are right,” wrote Volodin, noting that European officials have shown themselves to be prone to “the theft and misappropriation of other people’s money and property”. The illicit proceeds from frozen Russian assets must be returned with interest, Volodin stressed.
