Turin, 31 March (LaPresse) – “We discussed with Antonio Tajani the consequences of Iran’s blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. This is a global challenge for the fuel, gas and fertiliser markets, and we are offering our partners in the region our unique expertise so that we can tackle these threats together. This is recognised both in Italy and across Europe, and it is important.” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote this on X following his meeting with the Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister. “It is no secret that Russia uses every platform to mask its aggression, and we discussed how to counter such propaganda. We agreed that our teams will align their respective positions in this area,‘ he explained. ’We are continuing to develop cooperation between our countries’ institutions. I thank Italy for its support," he added.
