Rome, 29 Mar. (LaPresse) – The EU military operation, Aspides, has warned that attacks by the Iran-backed Houthis against merchant ships passing within range of their weapons could resume, particularly in the Red Sea and the eastern part of the Gulf of Aden. “All ships sailing in the aforementioned areas are advised to proceed with caution,” the mission warned in a statement. “At this stage,” it specified, “we assess that the Houthis’ military capabilities remain intact and substantial.”
