This was stated by US mediator Steve Witkoff, speaking at the cabinet meeting currently taking place at the White House. Following the delivery to the Iranians, via Pakistan, of the US 15-point plan, there have been “strong and positive exchanges of messages”, Witkoff reported, without giving further details. “We will see where things take us and whether we can convince Iran that this is a turning point,” he said.
