Washington, Mar. 24 (LaPresse) – Donald Trump stated that the United States is speaking with the right people in Iran, who would be willing to negotiate an agreement. The White House chief reiterated that the Iranians have agreed never to develop a nuclear weapon. Trump also clarified that operations in Iran do not constitute a war but should be considered a military operation. According to the Wall Street Journal, the Pentagon plans to send about 3,000 soldiers from the 82nd Airborne Division to the Middle East to support operations against Iran. Sources specified that no decision has yet been made regarding deployment on Iranian territory. The deployment of the elite unit would, however, open up several strategic options for the president.
