Iran, media: new Israel-US strikes on nuclear facility in Natanz

Frankfurt (Germany), March 21 (LaPresse) – Israel and the United States have once again attacked the uranium enrichment facility in Natanz. This was reported by the Iranian news agency Tasnim. According to Iranian authorities, as reported by Tasnim, no radioactive leakage has been recorded from the facility and residents living nearby are not at risk. Natanz, Iran’s main uranium enrichment site, had been hit in the first week of the war and, according to satellite images, several buildings appeared to be damaged. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) had stated that no “radiological consequences” were expected following that attack. The nuclear facility, located about 220 kilometers southeast of Tehran, had already been targeted by Israeli airstrikes during the 12-day war between Iran and Israel in June 2025, as well as by the United States.
