Rome, 20 March (LaPresse) – The US military is stepping up the deployment of ships and thousands of marines to the Gulf region as part of the war against Iran. This is according to “Newsmax”, citing US officials. In total, it is reported, three vessels and around 4,000 military personnel are expected to be sent. Among them is said to be the ‘Boxer’ amphibious group. According to sources, sailors and marines have cut short their leave after completing certification and training to speed up their deployment.
