Turin, 20 Mar. (LaPresse) – The United Kingdom has authorised the United States to use its bases to launch attacks against Iranian targets in the Strait of Hormuz. This is according to the BBC. Previously, Downing Street had authorised US forces to use British bases for operations aimed at preventing Tehran from launching missiles that would endanger British interests or lives. However, during a meeting today, ministers agreed that US use of British bases could now be extended to include the protection of ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
