Turin, 19 March (LaPresse) – The Ukrainian negotiating team is on its way to the United States, where a meeting with American negotiators is scheduled for Saturday. This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who reported that there are signs from the US of a willingness to continue working in the talks to bring an end to the war with Russia. “There has been a pause in the negotiations; it is time to bring it to an end. And we are doing everything possible to ensure that the talks are truly substantive. The Ukrainian team, in particular the political component of the negotiating group, is already on its way, and so we expect a meeting in the United States this Saturday,” Zelensky said in his evening address, as reported by Ukrainska Pravda. “Our priority is to do everything possible to achieve a dignified peace. And I thank everyone who is contributing to this,” he added.
