This is overwhelming force applied with precision.’ This was stated by US Secretary of Defence Pete Hegseth during a press briefing at the Pentagon on the war in Iran. ‘Iran’s defence industrial base is being massively destroyed,’ he added, noting that a new wave of attacks would represent ‘the most substantial wave of attacks to date’.
