Milan, 18 March (LaPresse/AP) – Iraq announced today that it is resuming oil exports from fields located in the city of Kirkuk, via a pipeline linking them to the port of Ceyhan in Turkey. The breakthrough came after the Iraqi government in Baghdad reached an agreement with the autonomous Kurdish administration in the north of the country. The Iraqi Oil Ministry stated that it will initially export 250,000 barrels of crude oil per day.
