Iran, Waltz: ‘All options are on the table, but it won't be another Iraq’

Rome, 15 March (LaPresse) – "We have forces specialised in dealing with weapons of mass destruction all over the world, should we need to seize them from a rogue state or in other circumstances. But what I can tell you, I am certain of, is that it will not be another 2003 Iraq. There will not be hundreds of thousands of soldiers occupying urban areas somewhere. Certainly not in Tehran.‘ This was stated by the US Ambassador to the United Nations, Mike Waltz, on Fox News. Waltz added that Trump has ’all sorts of options‘ at his disposal, ranging from diplomacy to the seizure of enriched uranium. ’We’ll see what he decides to do with the Iranian leadership, however it turns out," Waltz said of Trump. ‘He has made it clear that Iran will never be allowed to have a nuclear weapon. And I just want to reiterate that the President has been clear on this point for many years, during his 2016 election campaign, his 2020 campaign and his 2024 campaign.’
