Iran, Israeli army: "Taleghan nuclear site hit"

Milan, Mar. 12 (LaPresse) – Israel has announced that it struck another Iranian complex used for nuclear weapons development in Tehran, the Taleghan site. The Israeli army (IDF) stated that the complex has been used in recent years to develop advanced explosives and conduct sensitive experiments related to the AMAD project, Iran’s secret nuclear weapons development program of the 2000s. The IDF added that it recently identified attempts by Iran to rehabilitate the site after it was hit in October 2024. It stated that the latest strike was part of a broader campaign targeting infrastructure and research centers linked to Iran’s nuclear program.
